Young Mariners Career Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created to inspire financial and talent support from the global community to foster positive outcomes supporting its mission. Contributions from industry, advisors, partners, alumni and friends ensure the help needed to place students in innovative and relevant programs and encourage students to achieve their dreams.
The scholarships and financial support needed to educate and train our students is in high demand. Your donation to fund a scholarship provides an invaluable service to our students and allows each the opportunity to learn without the pressures of large debt upon completion. This gift promotes the confidence needed to complete training and seek professional employment in the life saving trades.
YMCF is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization and contributions may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. Objectives
Financial
Raise money to fund activities defined in our mission statement and to support the infrastructure of the foundation.
Operational
Provide funding to at-risk youth and adults who are enrolled in continuing education programs at accredited educational institutions.
GOALS
Scholarships
Our goal is to raise $ 500,000 this year to provide scholarships and grants to 100 workers seeking training.
